I saw this film in theaters a few weeks ago and I was the youngest person in the audience by about 20 years.

I waited until after the nominees were announced to see this film. I had a screener copy, but wanted to see it large on the big screen so I waited to see if it would get nominated for Best Picture before I watched the screener. That way, I knew I’d see it in the Best Picture Showcase as well and get a chance to see its beauty the way it was meant to be seen.

I saw this film as a screener before Christmas. I was excited to see it again in the Best Picture Showcase to refresh my memory.

I saw this film back in November just a few weeks after the election, so I was still in the politics mind set.
The film tells the story of Harvey Milk (Sean Penn), California’s first openly gay elected official, who after a life of struggling against oppression, is assassinated by a fellow politician, supervisor Dan White (Josh Brolin).
I loved this film and it really struck a chord with me, and I’m sure many fellow Californians as well, as one of Milk’s campaigns against a Prop so closely resembles that of the recent Prop 8.

I saw this film in theaters and in 3D, which is such a great way to see an animated film of this caliber.
On the popular science fiction television series “Bolt,” stars Penny (Miley Cyrus) and her dog Bolt (John Travolta) fight against evil scientists to save the world. Only, Bolt thinks the whole thing is real, including his super powers.

I was so glad to see the shorts again this year. It makes the ceremony so much more interesting when I know everything I can about all the nominees. Interesting fact about all the animated selections this year- there’s not a single word of dialogue amongst them.

I was so glad to see the shorts again this year. It makes the ceremony so much more interesting when I know everything I can about all the nominees. I honestly loved each selection this year- the Academy really has their work cut out for them in narrowing this category down to one.

I saw this one last November as a screener at home on a rainy Sunday. It really matched the tone of this film.
Kym (Anne Hathaway) is a recovering drug addict who leaves rehab to attend the wedding of her sister Rachel (Rosemarie DeWitt).

I saw this movie back in October- I was really looking forward to it, as I love Clint Eastwood films, but couldn’t help but feel pretty let down.

I saw this film over Thanksgiving weekend with my movie-loving aunt and uncle and I'm so glad I did as it seemed to get lost in the holiday shuffle this year.
Just before WWII, Lady Sarah Ashley (Nicole Kidman), an English aristocrat, inherits a ranch in Australia and flies there to prep the land for sale. Once there she becomes close with the hands on the ranch and discovers that the local businessman who wants to buy the ranch, Neil Fletcher (David Wenham), has been monopolizing the cattle industry and stealing cattle from her herd.
